Retorno do Campeonato Gaúcho é previsto para o dia 19 de julho
Nesta segunda-feira, o governo do Rio Grande do Sul e a Federação Gaúcha de Futebol se reuniram para debater o plano de retomada do Campeonato Gaúcho, paralisado desde março por conta da pandemia de covid-19. Segundo o Uol Esporte, o Estadual está previsto para retornar no dia 19 de julho.
O restante do Gauchão teria 22 dias de duração, com uma eventual final entre campeões dos dois turnos no dia dos pais, 9 de agosto. Todas as partidas serão disputadas com portões fechados e seguindo protocolos de segurança, conforme planejado anteriormente.
O local onde as partidas serão realizadas ainda está em aberto, mas existe a possibilidade de todos os confrontos acontecerem em Porto Alegre e Caxias do Sul. A reunião também tratou de medidas para o dia a dia dos clubes e reiterou a testagem em massa de atletas e comissões técnicas.
