Bolsonaro recria Ministério das Comunicações com genro de Silvio Santos
O presidente Jair Bolsonaro anunciou, na noite desta quarta-feira (10/6), que vai recriar o Ministério das Comunicações e nomeou para o cargo o deputado Fabio Faria (PSD-RN). Farias é casado com Patrícia Abravanel, filha de Silvio Santos, dono do SBT.
“Nesta data, via MP, fica recriado o Ministério das Comunicações a partir do desmembramento do Ministério de Ciência, Tecnologia, Inovações e Comunicações. Para a pasta foi nomeado como titular o deputado Fabio Faria/RN”, escreveu o presidente.
Criado em 1967, o Ministério das Comunicações foi extinto em maio de 2016 e incorporado à pasta de Ciência e Tecnologia, atualmente comandada pelo astronauta Marcos Pontes.
A pasta tem como áreas de competência os serviços de radiodifusão, postais e de telecomunicações. Também é responsável por formular e propor as políticas nacionais para estas áreas, assim como a política nacional de inclusão digital.
