Nesta sexta-feira (19), o WhatsApp apresenta um problema bastante peculiar. O mensageiro deixou de exibir quem está online na plataforma e qual último horário a pessoa utilizou o app (para usuários que ativaram o ‘visto por último’). O inconveniente foi observado nas versões de smartphone e web.
Para tentar solucionar a questão, alguns usuários estão desinstalando o aplicativo. No entanto, de acordo com o WABetaInfo, isso não deve ser feito, caso contrário, não será mais possível logar na conta do utilizador.
De acordo com o site DownDetector, 49% dos usuários do aplicativo enfrentam falha geral do aplicativo, enquanto outros 38% estão com problemas de acesso. Há muitos relatos de que as opções de privacidade foram modificadas e não é possível desfazer as alterações. Ainda segundo o site, além do Brasil, o problema afeta o Reino Unido, Europa e Estados
Ao tentar modificar alguma das opções de privacidade, o aplicativo mostra um erro que indica falha no procedimento e que o usuário deve tentar mais tarde. Ainda não se sabe ao certo o motivo do problema. Pode ser que esteja relacionado à chegada do sistema de pagamentos a outros países – o recurso foi implementado no Brasil na segunda-feira (15).
