Governo do Estado do Piauí garante mais de 3 mil chips para alunos da Uespi
Ação se dá por meio de parceria entre a Seduc e Universidade Estadual do Piauí.
O secretário de Estado da Educação, Ellen Gera, e o vice-reitor da Universidade Estadual do Piauí (Uespi), Evandro Alberto de Sousa, assinaram, nesta quarta-feira (16), o termo de cessão que garantirá mais conectividade aos estudantes da Uespi. A distribuição dos 3.400 mil chips com pacote mensal de 20GB de internet móvel contemplará universitários dos 12 campi da instituição.
Segundo Ellen Gera, o Estado buscou fazer a aquisição dos serviços da operadora de telefonia com maior cobertura no território piauiense. “O objetivo do Governo do Estado é ampliar o acesso dos estudantes aos conteúdos pedagógicos e colaborar para que a educação continue chegando aos alunos matriculados não só nas escolas de educação básica, mas também na universidade estadual”, explicou o secretário.
Embora tenha surgido como forma de auxiliar os estudantes nesse período de aulas remotas por causa da pandemia, Ellen Gera destacou que a ideia do governador é tornar essa estratégia uma política pública permanente. “Todo aluno que ingressar na escola pública do Estado do Piauí terá um chip com internet para que ele possa garantir a conectividade durante o período que permanecer matriculado na escola.”, comentou o gestor.
Mais conectividade
Mais de 180 mil estudantes matriculados na rede estadual irão receber chips da Claro com tecnologia 4G e pacote de dados de 20 gigas mensal, para que tenham acesso aos conteúdos educacionais disponibilizados pela Seduc em plataformas digitais de videoaulas, Canal Educação, Pré-Enem Seduc, bem como o aplicativo iSeduc Aluno, onde são disponibilizadas as aulas produzidas pelos professores.
A Embratel também fornecerá uma solução inovadora que facilitará a gestão de dados pela Secretaria da Educação e a comunicação entre professores e estudantes. Com isso, a Seduc poderá estipular regras de uso das linhas móveis; determinar os sites e aplicativos que poderão ser acessados, analisando o consumo deles; e bloquear ou desbloquear o compartilhamento de hotspot nos dispositivos. Isso possibilita monitorar o consumo de forma mais assertiva, assegurando o uso de dados de maneira eficiente e disponibilidade de conectividade durante todo o ano letivo.
Os professores poderão se comunicar com os estudantes com a solução da Embratel, enviando mensagens e arquivos via push, por exemplo, para orientá-los sobre quais conteúdos devem ler ou quais aulas devem assistir. Em uma plataforma, poderão acompanhar a evolução dos estudos, tornando mais próxima a interação com os estudantes quando não estiverem juntos em sala de aula.
Os chips serão distribuídos inicialmente para os estudantes da 3ª série do Ensino Médio, que estão se preparando para o Enem. Para os demais alunos da rede, a solução estará disponível em janeiro, quando começa o programa de reforço de aprendizagem Juntos para Avançar.
